The packageing is a nice an looks like something you would see in a retail store. When i first opend it i was happy to see there was a small PCB and a all metal frame. The way the PCB is attached to the 5 1/2 bay dirve is with some sort of L bracket. It has four screws. In the fron there are four (18 watt max) knobes to controle the four channels. The are good in size and have ring around them. The ring is lited up blue leds when the unit is on. Overall, this is a high quality build and nice looking unit.
To test it i used a few generic fans and the very loud fans from the TT mini orb. The unit was able to make 40 DB fans quite so i say it worked...
Pro:
-good looking
-compact
-dose what it is made to do
-well built
Cons:
- blue leds might not fit every case
- not easily change able knobs
Overall: I give it a 4 out of 5 _________________ I CANT SPELL! |
